Allah eliminates and confirms what He wills, and with Him is the Master Record.1

Allah eliminates what He wills or confirms, and with Him is the Mother of the Book.1

Whether We show you ˹O Prophet˺ some of what We threaten them with, or cause you to die ˹before that˺, your duty is only to deliver ˹the message˺. Judgment is for Us.

And whether We show you part of what We promise them or take you in death, upon you is only the [duty of] notification, and upon Us is the account.

Do they not see that We gradually reduce their land from its borders? Allah decides—none can reverse His decision. And He is swift in reckoning.

Have they not seen that We set upon the land, reducing it from its borders?1 And Allah decides; there is no adjuster of His decision. And He is swift in account.

Those ˹disbelievers˺ before them ˹secretly˺ planned, but Allah has the ultimate plan. He knows what every soul commits. And the disbelievers will soon know who will have the ultimate outcome.

And those before them had plotted, but to Allah belongs the plan entirely. He knows what every soul earns, and the disbelievers will know for whom is the final home.

The disbelievers say, “You ˹Muḥammad˺ are no messenger.” Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “Allah is sufficient as a Witness between me and you, as is whoever has knowledge of the Scripture.”

And those who have disbelieved say, "You are not a messenger." Say, [O Muḥammad], "Sufficient is Allah as Witness between me and you, and [the witness of] whoever has knowledge of the Scripture."1
